Course Details

In 2005/2006 falls from height accounted for 46 fatal accidents and around 3500 major injuries.  They remain the biggest single cause of workplace fatality and major injury.  (Source: HSE)

Many of these injuries and fatalities could have been avoided with appropriate training and proper understanding of safety equipment.

The Work at Height Regulations 2005 state that:

• All work at height must be properly planned and organized
• All involved are competent
• Risks are assessed
• Suitable equipment is selected, used, inspected and maintained

Course Description

Evolution offer a 1/2 day training course to ensure all those working at height are familiar with all regulations and use of appropriate equipment.

The course includes theory and hands-on practical sessions. This will include correct fitting and care of Personal Protective Equipment.
